Meebos is known as one of the oldest confections made in the Cape. Mebos is a sweet that is made from dried apricots that are pulped and flavoured with sugar and salt. Only the very best, ripe apricots are used. Once flavoured, the apricot pulp is shaped into circles or sticks.
