INGREDIENTS
• 2 cups Ground Almonds
• 1 cup Water
• 1 tin Condensed Milk
• 1 tablespoon Ghee
• 1 teaspoon Saffron strands
• Almonds for decorating or 1 tblsp flaked almonds
INSTRUCTIONS
- Combine ground Almonds and Water in non-stick sauce pan and allow to soak for 30 minutes.
- Add 1 tin Condensed Milk and Ghee and place over medium heat and stir for 20 minutes until the Halwa pulls from the pan and has a stretchy texture.
- Add Saffron and cook for another 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly, form into desired shapes and decorate with whole Almonds or almond flakes.
